Responsibility and Ethics in Management Education for Future Challenges
This project is an Erasmus+ KA220-HED Cooperation Partnership which will operate from September 1, 2024 to July 31, 2027, and is administered via the French National Agency Erasmus+ Agency: Agence Erasmus+ France / Éducation et Formation (FR01).
It is coordinated by TBS Education (Toulouse, France), with the University of Milan (Italy), the Prague University of Economics and Business (Czechia), the Lev Academic Center (JCT) and the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College (Israel).
The project addresses the following Erasmus+ priorities: common values, civic engagement and participation (horizontal); and stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices (higher education). Its topics are bridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divides; inter-regional cooperation; and creating new, innovative or joint curricula.
The Five Work Packages
WP1: Project Management
Led by TBS Education, Toulouse
This work package coordinates the consortium’s activities through three governance bodies: a steering committee meeting monthly, and an academic review board and a quality assurance committee meeting quarterly.
WP2: Assessment
Led by the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College
This work package provides the project’s evidence base through a literature review of relevant research and an analysis of the curricula and syllabuses taught across the countries involved in the project.
WP3: Ideation
Led by the Prague University of Economics and Business, with the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College co-leading on teaching methods
This package turns the assessment findings into teaching materials: a textbook, short videos, case studies and a recommended reading list.
WP4: Testing and Empirical Analyses
Led by the University of Milan
This package tests whether the new approach works, using a quasi-experimental design in which outcomes from classes taught through Attentive Teaching are compared with those taught conventionally. Survey data is being drawn from roughly 500 students across all five institutions.
WP5: Dissemination
Led by the Lev Academic Center (JCT)
This work package carries the results of the project beyond the consortium, and covers communication about the project in both the academic and the general public sphere.
